Visit the traditional Al Safah House in Al Hamra, beautifully preserved with its whitewashed walls and traditional decor, reflecting Omani rural life. Also see the ancient nearby traditional water filtration system. After lunch, ascend to Jebel Shams, Oman's highest peak at about 3,000 meters, known as the “Grand Canyon of Oman,” with spectacular views over deep valleys and colourful mountains. Enjoy a short nature walk and the fresh mountain air. Overnight in Nizwa.
Tour the lush palm oasis of Barka Al Moz and see the ancient aflaj irrigation systems demonstrating sophisticated water management techniques. Continue to Jebel Akhdar, the "Green Mountain," famous for its fruit orchards, roses, and villages offering a glimpse into traditional Omani rural life. Proceed to Bidiyah for a night in an authentic desert camp enjoying starlit skies and traditional Bedouin storytelling. Overnight in a luxury desert camp.
Spend a day immersed in nature’s beauty; start at Wadi Tiwi with its lush green palm trees and flowing water streams. Then enjoy a scenic hike in Wadi Shab featuring turquoise blue pools, natural caves, and small waterfalls ideal for swimming and relaxation.
